Street light not working in pedestrianised area on footpath between Elizabeth Drive & St James (bottom of Blackcroft )

Reported in the Street lighting category anonymously at 12:00, Wed 11 March 2020

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 5 minutes later

This streetlight is in a pedestrianised area with no other lighting close by. It is TOTALLY BLACK at night making it extremely dangerous for pedestrians. As a woman on her own I feel very vulnerable using this path at night. There is also a huge puddle on the footpath which is not visible in the dark

  • Thank you for your report, to enable us to log the fault to the correct unit can you please advise using the attached map the street light number you are referring to. If the unit is not on the map this would not be owned/maintained by Oxfordshire County Council and would need to be reported to the developer/landowner direct. Unfortunately we do not keep records of private lights.
