A large vehicle has we think skidded and caused the Main Street verge on other side of exlade street junction, near a track entrance , and put huge ruts into the verge on both sides of the track entrance and, at the left side, flattened a new fire hydrant sign which is lying there. This needs re cementing back in and the both verges smoothed out properly and even grass seed scattered in. Luckily white signpost is ok!

Exactly as the problem summary in box above

In addition there are also 2 give way signs just before A4074 junction on left side which have been hit and are tilting over, need straightening up. Thanks!

  • Thank you for your report. A site visit has been made. The tombstone as I call it has been temporarily re-erected & the relevant body will be contacted to concrete it back permanently. As regards the verge it has been made good but this was not a safety issue that is for OCC to rectify at these challenging times. This report is now closed.
