The pavement requires complete resurfacing

In Rotherfield Peppard. The pavement from the Unicorn Pub to Stevens Lane requires resurfacing, that’s about 200-300 metres of pavement. The pavement has probably not received any proper surface maintenance for 60-70 years. The surface of the pavement is uneven, broken, rutted and has weeds growing through it. Why do the residents of Peppard have to put up with the abject quality of our streets? We all pay our taxes especially fuel duty, road tax and VAT on vehicle purchases and we see very little local benefit for those taxes.
