Reported in the Street lighting category by Alison Earl at 13:21, Friday 6 March 2020

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 5 minutes later

Ref: 00365141 Thank you for your update. I can't believe that I have reported this to you several times and now someone at your end has closed it with the message "not our responsibility". Do I assume as it has been closed nothing has been done? Has the job been passed on to the relevant company? Or do I, as a council tax payer, now chase the other company up? I think the answer is a disgraceful waste of my time. Surely 7 weeks ago you could have directed me in the right direction!

  • Ref: 00368685 Thank you for your report, OCC are now responding to out of lights within the contracted timescales of attending site within 7 working days for repairs. If there is a cable fault this will be passed to the Electricity company to repair and will take longer, it will depend on the resources which the District Service Operator has. Thank you

    State changed to: Action scheduled

  • I understand why this hasn't been completed yet but hope that once everyone gets back to work, it will be done (certainly before next winter!)
