Massive, repeated flooding with nothing been done about it for months.

Reported in the Drainage category by Simon Edwards at 18:39, Tue 3 March 2020

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later

Huge flooding due to drain being blocked and incorrect positioning of the drainage system. Flood covers the whole road. No warning signs or cones present to make you aware of the issue and drain is so low compared to most of the road that it's basically a half foot deep pothole. Loads of tree debris on the sides of the road and on the road make navigating this obstacle course for cars slippery and dangerous. Sort it out asap please before someone gets hurt!

  • Our house is next to this flood, and water is literally pouring off the road and pooling around our house base (approx 2 inches up wall at present and rising). This flooding happens every time there is rain, but never been as bad as this. Whole area needs proper drainage and urgently...damaged road under flood has lead to multiple people with tyres off, near collisions as people try to avoid water, and people driving over verge to avoid leading to mud everywhere as well as eyesore. This needs sorting out, or as S Edwards says there will be a serious accident soon.

Took these earlier, fence posts literally sitting in water for a month now and rotting on top of all safety issues mentioned.
