Sink hole appeared on Greys HIll

This hole first appeared last week outside No.26/28. I'm pretty sure caused by erosion from water flowing from a small black manhole cover which leaked several times last year and was left leaking for far too long. Repairs, when eventually done, were botched and had to be re-done several times before the leak was eventually stopped. I dread to think how much water, time and money was wasted on this issue alone! And now we have a sink hole, growing by the day. Some guys did turn up last week, stood around the hole, scratched their chins, and other parts of their anatomies, dumped some tarmac in and left. Said tarmac rapidly fell into the growing hole, leaving a bigger hole! The condition of the roads in Henley in general are an absolute disgrace, and Church Road/Greys Hill are in a particularly bad way with potholes and dangerous uneven surfaces. Again a poor quality job was done late last year (or early 2020) where someone came and sprayed white paint around the potholes, then someone else came and haphazardly dumped some tarmac into some of them. Within a week most of that tarmac had crumbled and was scattered across the road surface. What a false economy and waste of time and money. Please do something about it!
