Gas Works road closure

Do they have permission to close part of Northcourt Road (Abingdon) yet again (I live in Harcourt Way)? They have been "working" on the gas supply since December and the work was only meant to be for one month!? They have also made the road 10x worse than it already was. I ride a motorcycle and the road is getting very dangerous to ride on and even worse if you ride a bicycle. They also add a few extra miles on my journey which means more pollutants and wear and tear on my motorcycle. This is cussing a lot of disruption and they never seem to secure their signs/barriers. Almost every morning when I leave for work there is something in the road. Can this please be monitored or better arrangements are made?
