Sceening of street light to shield windows of 8 Ridgeway Road has moved/been dislodged so house is now in full glare of close street light

This street light is directly outside 8 Ridgeway Road and very close. It is an old-style street light that gives out bright orange light horizontally up to roof height. Until the recent storms it had some kind of sheilding on the side facing the house. This has now disappeared and the light shines strongly in all our front rooms at night.

  • Sorry to hear of this issue, the columns and lanterns in Ridgeway Road will be replaced very shortly, (this month) with new LED lanterns which are much more cut off. This will hopefully rectify this issue completely. Sorry again for the inconvenience that this has caused
