This street light has not been working all through the winter. It has been reported before but not addressed. Makes Tays Gateway very dark for pedestrians.

  • Thank you for your report, to enable us to log the fault to the correct unit can you please advise using the attached map the street light number you are referring to. If the unit is not on the map this would not be owned/maintained by Oxfordshire County Council and would need to be reported to the developer/landowner direct. Unfortunately we do not keep records of private lights.

  • Hi

That map is too small to mark it. It's located where I reported it, on the wall of Bullring Cottage, Bullring, on the Tays Gateway side, as shown in the pictures. It is a public light, as the power cable runs along the front of Bullring Cottage, and then overhead across the road to the pole opposite. There is no number on the glass like there is on other lights in the Bullring.

  • Ref: 368576 Thank you for your report, OCC are now responding to out of lights within the contracted timescales of attending site within 7 working days for repairs. If there is a cable fault this will be passed to the Electricity company to repair and will take longer, it will depend on the resources which the District Service Operator has. Thank you

  • It is the light at the south end of Tays Gateway - I think it’s number 1, as the north end light has a number 2 on the glass. There are only 2 lights in that lane.
