Chevron left alignment damage & contractor flyposting
Reported in the Road Traffic Signs and Road Markings category by Cllr Sharone Parnes at 05:17, Monday 2 March 2020
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 3 minutes later
The menacing limited-visibility southern bend of Shipton Road has two sets of important three-pole chevron left alignment sign displays on poles designed for visibility when travelling in a southerly direction but these are now dangerously degraded by: right sign disappeared altogether, middle sign obstructed by recently installed development signage a few meters northward up the road, left sign-face is bent, poles are leaning out of position, and contractors have attached their own construction site signage including abundant small lettering unsuitable and distracting for a dangerous bend such as that at the locus.
