Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 5 minutes later
Once again you've prematurely shut this complaint and marked it as 'fixed' this is not the case.
Re: "There are measures that could be considered but the consequences and wider impacts of such measures needs very careful consideration. This is not the forum to go into greater detail and I would suggest you contact your Parish Council and or County Councillor whom we work with closely in trying to address such issues." - I am a general road user if I had to speak to every parish council/councillor about fundamental issues of safety it would be highly inefficient. This is the only transparent forum for lodging issues in Oxfordshire so therefore the only forum you have to go into more detail.
Re point 'We are currently carrying out an extensive survey of traffic on the A40 corridor and its surrounds.' Wonderful please can you evidence the results of this survey about the stretch of road in question.
Re point 'the number of infractions remains very high' Please let me know how you're remedying this on the A415 and implementing effective measures
Re point 'anecdotal reports don’t carry much weight' Thats fine, I'll start reporting any road infraction on this piece of road (such as mounting of a curb) to the police thus converting from anecdotal. I assume this is your advice in line with Thames Valley Police?
Re point 'The County only have a finite resource' As mentioned previously who is responsible for applying for these resources and how may I communicate with them directly?

Re point 'The County are dependent on Central Government' who in the county is responsible for the annual planning and budgeting, and therefore who should I talk to ensure a resolutions is included in the planned improvements for 2021
Re point: 'We work with the local Parish Council and County Council, you may wish to lobby them' No I do not wish to lobby anyone, I wish to have a structured plan from you as the authority for highways in country on how you will address the issue. You undertook a survey a decade ago identifying the issue, it has clearly not been resolved and needs to be addressed.
Re point 'Closing the FMS entry does not mean we have stopped considering your request' When you close the case its marked as 'fixed' that is not the case, please let me know how you intend to resolve this issue and evidence the surveys you've been doing for the a40 development that shows the impact on this stretch of road as you mentioned in an earlier point.
Re point 'I dare say you consider this problem as a defect but in practice your request' you're correct. but also this is the only transparent platform you have (OCC, WODC, and parish) to discuss matters with your road users to until such point another platform is presented to me that shows the progress of a case and intended plan for action I will continue to reopen

These two holes are now extremely dangerous and if I get another puncture from them I will be sending the bill !
I tried to report these a month ago after splitting my tyre and it said it had been reported ? It’s still not been mended or even had anyone out to look ?
