Mud on footway verge churned up

Reported anonymously at 15:29, Friday 28 February 2020

Sent to Cherwell District Council and Oxfordshire County Council 4 minutes later

Cherwell Licence a burger van at this location and the burgers are yummy but no one has provided a hard standing so the walkway is covered in mud. Hinders wheelchairs (this is a compliant under the DisabilityDiscrimination Act ) and the verge is impossible to walk over as it is so churned up and very dangerous when you try to cross the road

Council ref: ENQ20860002

  • Thank you for your report. Sorry for the delayed response, we have been in contact with Cherwell DC to negotiate the amendments to the Kebab Vans trading licence. The changes have now been made and they are not permitted to trade on the highway verge in any way, However they still hold a valid licence to trade within the layby area. The verge has now been re-instated and will be grass seeded in the ear future. Kind regards.
