Underground spring in Brook street and blocked surface water drain pipes
Reported in the Blocked Drain / Gully category anonymously at 10:35, Tue 25 February 2020
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 7 minutes later
There are three identified problems - 1) An underground spring is pushing water through the Brook Street road surface and the grass verge, 2) the drain pipe coming from Stert Road South down Brook Street to the Brook is blocked , 3) The drain pipe coming from Stert Road North (the farm yard) down Brook Street the to the Brook is blocked. This is causing excess water in the whole area. We have confirmation from Thames Water that there is no mains water leak and that the surface water drainage is the responsibility of the Council. These issues have been present since December and have only got worse. We really need a full technician review and a plan of action.
