The issue is with drivers seemingly not seeing pedestrians on the zebra crossing.

Reported in the Report a tree problem category anonymously at 09:54, Mon 24 February 2020

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later

On numerous occasion vehicles driving into Banbury have stopped and we have started to cross and vehicles driving in the opp direction have either not stopped or braked suddenly. I believe that drivers are not seeing the zebra crossing. There are two large tress directly above the beacons with over hanging branches. In the wet the markings on the crossing merge into the road surface. Plus it maybe that with the introduction of the new pelican traffic lights opp the school drivers are concentrating on those lights. In include a photo to show that the crossing is practically invisible.
