Grass verge erosion, now mud

Reported in the Grass and Hedges category anonymously at 20:45, Friday 21 February 2020

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 5 minutes later

We live in Fernleas, Park Lane, Long Hanborough. We noticed the pot holes in the lane have been repaired and the road sweeper came. But what about the terrible mess at the top of the lane? This was always a lovely grass bank and it is now a mess of mud, with cars parking on it at all times, probably because they don't want to pay parking at the railway car park.

Even the bank outside our property is used occasionally as a car park, the lorries etc going down the lane, to the site at the bottom, cannot get by without going over them, starting another mess of mud as the grass has been eroded away and it all needs sorting out.

We hope the Council will look into this and do something about it.

Regards,

Angela and John Smith.
