Bicycles painted on road faded beyond recognition

The painted bicycles on the road are needed to warn motorists to expect bicycles especially due to the high volumes of school traffic in Summertown and the reason for the 20mph limit

  • Although the cycle markings warn that this is a section of road shared with cyclists, it is not necessarily the only reason for the 20mph Limit.

    However, we have ordered the refurbishment of these markings along with stop lines at the pedestrian crossings in the immediate area. Although this will be subject to any futer restrictions associated with COVID 19.
