There is a large section of the A338, from te 40mph speed sign to beyond the Manor Farm turning that has been constantly under water or over a week. Water is pouring out of drains on the road and running into my garden.

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 3 minutes later
The drains in the road of Manor Road, Wantage have not been cleared in the 3 years we have lived here. The road regularly floods and has worsened over time. Currently water is coming Out of the drains and flowing across the road. In the few minutes that it took me to take the photos, I saw several near misses as vehicles swerved across the road to avid the water.

Thank you for your enquiry this appears to be a land drain near Manor Road Farm that is discharging water onto the highway. The drains are not coping with the constant flow of water,
Thames Water say it is not a water leak. We are liaising with the district council VALE engineer enforce land drainage issues on our behalf.
We have asked for slippery/ flood boards to go out today.Posted by Oxfordshire County Council at 13:54, Wed 26 February 2020

There is a drain that is very close to the source of the water that is there specifically to take the water under the road into edge Hill Springs, if that was cleaned out most of the water would go down the drain and not down the road

You have clean out all the road drains but you haven't cleaned out the drain that would take most of the water away because it has been buried for some years, the drain in question is dead opposite Manor farm bungalows. If it rains for a long period of time it will do exactly the same again because the road drains can't take that amount of water And it will eventually ruin the tarmac road.
