Flooding in drive and front garden

Reported in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 14:59, Monday 17 February 2020

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 3 minutes later

Each time we have a storm my drive and part of the front garden get flooded upto 4inches of water (see pictures). The reason for this is that all the road run off down Brookstones (the lane that I live in) comes directly into my property as the road slopes towards my property as opposed to towards the road drains on the other side of the road (which even during heavy rain take no water). The solution seems easy to me in that the road outside my drive needs to be reprofiled ( probably built up by no more than an inch or two at the entrance to my drive) so that the water drains into the road gulleys on the other side of the road (see pictures).
