Chinnor Hill Gooseneck
Reported in the Report a tree problem category anonymously at 12:08, Mon 17 February 2020
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 4 minutes later
This whole stretch of highway is bordered by very large leaning trees on slopes where the soil has eroded so their roots are exposed and barely support the trees anymore. A very large tree fell across the road next to the Gooseneck traffic island on Saturday 15th Feb and the road was closed again. There were other trees that fell onto this stretch of highway a few days earlier. I have never seen any tree maintenance over the years so the problem needs investigation for the safety of all people that use this road
