Bus stops are too close together and too close to zebra crossing

Reported anonymously at 10:48, Monday 17 February 2020

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council and Vale of White Horse District Council 5 minutes later

Bus stops are too close together, completely blocking the road if both are in use, and causing traffic to build up. High number of passengers getting on or off a bus is causing tailbacks. Both these issues are causing traffic to be queuing to the slip road of the North bound A34. The bus stop on the westbound side of the road is too close to a zebra crossing. There have already been near-misses with people using the crossing while people are overtaking a stationary bus. The bus stops should be moved, and/or be given cut outs to get them off the carriageway.
