I have reported this problem through fixmystreet repeatedly and it was claimed to have been fixed. Perhaps the roadside drain had been cleared of debris but the core cause of the blockage remains unresolved. As can be seen by the flooding in the picture currently outside the house, this poses a significant obstruction to pedestrians when flooded. Despite a community effort to clear as much of the fallen detritus, the issue will not be resolved until the bolts on the drain have been removed and the mud cleared completely. The problem is encroaching on the property garden where mud is now collecting once the water has receded. It has been 4 months since the first report and we would ideally like to see it cleared sooner rather than later.
