Good Afternoon

With reference to the council ref above which you state is Cherwell District Council remit.

Unfortunately, on second check of our footpath folder, I do not believe this is the case as we have this on a footpath map of Kidlington as being a OCC responsibility, I will however, forward your response to CDC for comment.

Thank you KPC

  • Hi, can you confirm you are referring to the alley behind 39-53 Banbury Road? It was not confirmed on the original report as it just said 39-53.
    Thank you.

  • Afternoon No the alley way abutts the Wise Avenue properties (which are not housing trust/council).

On our map in the office this network of footpaths at the rear of Wise Avenue properties are detailed as OCC remit.

I guess you could say they are also at the rear of Banbury Road, but my suggestion is these are only accessible only via Wise Avenue?

    Many thanks KPC

  • Hi. As discussed with our Highways Officer this looks like Sanctuary Housing are responsible for the alley. He will follow up with them to request they cut back the overgrown vegetation etc. Thank you.
