Dirty water now flowing into land around properties

Reported in the Drainage category anonymously at 15:18, Monday 10 February 2020

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 12 minutes later

On the same day as the drains being cleared we now have dirty water flowing around the properties backing onto Brook Street. The photos show how the dirty water has accumulated. There must be a leak or break in the drainage system that needs investigation and fixing.

  • I believe the issue could be with the drainage coming from the Farm, across the Stert Road. The drains need a camera view to see if there are any breakages.

  • I asked Thames Water to check the surface water drains that take water from the farm on Stert Road to the Brook but they stated that the council is responsible for all surface water drains/pipes in Kingston Blount. I have attached pictures of the Thames Water statement and also where water is now coming out from the side of Brook Street.
