Posts erected on the verge adjacent to the higway
Reported anonymously at 10:56, Sunday 9 February 2020
Sent to Cherwell District Council and Oxfordshire County Council 4 minutes later
Somebody has very recently erected a line of substantial timber posts about 2' out of the ground with reflectors along the edge of the verge alongside March House. I was under the impression that to place obstructions on the verge was not permissible

Thank you for your report. It is permissible to install wooden posts on the Highway verge, however, there are stipulations which are; they need to be installed by us and this will be at a cost to the person who has asked for them to be put in. To the best of my knowledge, I have no records of Highway having installed these bollards, so I have written to the adjacent property asking them to remove the posts within 28 days. This letter has been put in the post today, however, i cannot confirm who has installed these bollards.
