Many some very deep potholes all along road from Enstone to Lidstone. Unofficial laybys that help to pass larger vehicles also have deep potholes that makes using them dangerous.

Much increased traffic from Chipping Norton due to large housing estate on Eastern border and heavy lorries taking short cut to Oxford have made pulling over to avoid collisions and this breaks down road edge as there are no kerbs to sustain tarmac. Proper 'laybys' at narrowest points would help.

  • Thank you for your report. We have looked at it and found that it was a duplicate of an issue reported by another customer. I have raised as many defect as possible on this road and will continue to monitor
