No street light

Reported in the Street lighting category anonymously at 16:28, Wed 5 February 2020

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later

It has been almost 4 months since I reported that there is no street light in the street and it is pitch black. It says that work has been scheduled - please advise when? I called and was told that someone would call me back but that has not happened either!!

  • I have looked at your previous report and identified the unit as number 6. Our contractor fitted a new bulb on 04/01/2020 as per your previous report. I have created a new job for our contractor and mentioned that it is still broken despite the last visit. Ref: 00367202 Thank you for your report, OCC are now responding to out of lights within the contracted timescales of attending site within 7 working days for repairs. If there is a cable fault this will be passed to the Electricity company to repair and will take longer, it will depend on the resources which the District Service Operator has. Thank you

    State changed to: Action scheduled

  • For your information - it has never worked since my initial report so I am not sure what was fitted on the 4th January!!
