Street light permanently on

Reported in the Street lighting category by Steve Fulker at 08:56, Mon 3 February 2020

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 5 minutes later

The lamppost on Oxford Road, directly opposite Town Farm Close is permanently on during daylight hours. The lamppost is numbered as 20. I've noticed it has been like this for at least the last 3 weeks.

  • Ref:00367039 Thank you for your report, OCC are now responding to out of lights within the contracted timescales of attending site within 7 working days for repairs. If there is a cable fault this will be passed to the Electricity company to repair and will take longer, it will depend on the resources which the District Service Operator has. Thank you

  • I don't know if this has been fixed, due to the coronavirus situation I haven't been past the street light since soon after I reported it.
