30 inch x 14 inch x 4 inch deep pothole adjacent to sunken manhole cover

Reported in the Pothole category anonymously at 22:04, Friday 31 January 2020

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later

This pothole is to the nearside gutter of the Moulsford bound carriageway of the Reading Road outside property name FYNAMORE. It has been increasing in size over the last month, the tarmac has been lifted and thrown out to a depth of 4 inches and lies in the gutter at the edge of the road. The tarmac is missing alongside the drain cover as it is eroded away and leaves a flat vertical edge to side and the leading edge of the hole created. Any wheel that goes into it as it moves forwards will hit this vertical face as it exits the hole. Failure to fix and if hit will cause deflation to a car tyre, damage and buckling to the rim. It will result in upending a motorcyclist or pedal cyclist if they ride into it as it is unlit and unsighted at night time.
