Today a lorry must have been driven on the pavement between 10 and 12 am. The tarmac is now completely broken at the foot of the lamppost. The pavement is in such state that it cannot be used by pedestrians. As there is no pavement on the other side of the lane pedesthrians have to walk on the road itself, including motheres taking their young children to the nursery in their prams or push-chaires. It is essential that repairs be carried out before an accident occurs. Pierre Foex, 26 Jack Straws Lane

This is the current state of the pavement. As you can see the surface is crumbling around the lamppost. Itn is obviously dangerous and probably an electrical hazard. An intervention is urgently needed.
