Drain blocked with rubble/ clay

Reported via iOS in the Drainage category anonymously at 21:22, Tuesday 28 January 2020

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 3 minutes later

Drain blocked solid with rubble/ clay following building work. Previously reported but no action taken as cars parked. Parking is currently suspended for “major works” opposite so perhaps this can now be fixed? Before it becomes like the lake (also reported) at the other end of Thameside by Hobbs.

Council ref: ENQ20855617

  • Thankyou for for your report and attached photos , I will visit site early next week and inspect gullies along this road and arrange for gully wagon to attend.

  • Thank you - the drain is in a parking bay so you will need to make arrangements in order to get clear access. This is why it was suggested to do the works when there was a recent suspension.

  • Still open, via questionnaire, 21:42, Tuesday

  • I suspect this is the same issue as reported further down the road that nobody has fixed. Is anything going to be done? The two are only 50m apart
