Excess water on Wood Lane outside Oakridge Farm

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 3 minutes later
A Superuser in our parish who is trained by SODC has said that there is nothing that can be done with the huge amounts of excess water everytime it rains outside Oakridge Farm. Apparently, this is because it is the lowest part of the road so there is, this is disappointing. Surely there is some way of looking at the drainage problem. If this is not done, the bank will continue to be washed away, the hedge roots are becoming exposed in places and this could lead to the hedge dying. You will see from the photos attached that the bank is now washing away to such an extent it's near to the posts on the verge. The other issue is that large flints are starting to be exposed. It would be better if this problem could be resolved. Eventually there will be damage to cars and/or continued degradation of the verge resulting in ongoing costs which won't be good for anyone. Perhaps an expert in road drainage could view the problem and a resolution can be found, for everyones benefit. The issue has been going on for 8 years at least.
