Speed limit of 50 is too high for the safety of the new residential area
Reported in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 09:31, Sun 26 January 2020
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 4 minutes later
I have 2 concerns:
1. Due to our new housing development, the speed limit of 50MPH needs to be reduced for safety especially when turning off or joining the A44. If this is not addressed a serious accident will occur. This risk is further exacerbated by the fact that there are no street lights.
2. Secondly, can we be provided with a bus stop. The lay-by would be a good place for a bus stop. At present our nearest bus stop is over a mile towards Begbroke or after the Pear Tree interchange. This means that unless you have a car, it is virtually impossible to go about your daily activities. This is not good enough for our children to safely attend school

Hi there,
Can someone please respond to my concerns below.
I am very unhappy about the poor service and that no one has had the courtesy to respond to me for more than 8 weeks now or given any timelines for addressing the issues. In your response can you provide me the details of how I can further escalate to the Director responsible for this atrocious level of service.
If I don’t receive a response in the next week, I will be writing to the local MP and the newspapers.
Thank you.
