Double yellow line request Stanley road no. 4-8

Dear Highway people !

I hope you can help as this is causing a great deal of distress to all of us. This is a joint request from us at No.5 Stanley Road and our neighbours at No.4,6 and 7.

We are experiencing repeated problems with people parking their cars infront of our drives blocking us in. My wife and I have been experiencing these problems since moving here 18 months ago and our neighbours have been having problems for the past 5 years.

The impact is it has prevented myself and wife from being able to leave for work both work helping people in the NHS and mental health services. We have also been unable to return from to park on our driveway no5 and our neighbours no.7.

The parking enforcement officers are unable to enforce as the lines outside are property are courtesy lines; sadly courtesy seems to something in short supply. Other houses on the street have requested and been granted the change to double yellow lines which does help to deter blocking them in . If there’s anything you can do we would be very grateful as emotions are rising .

If you require any more information please contact me at any time.

Many thanks Tom murfitt
