Trees need to be cut back on the B4031 going up the hill. The trees are overhanging the road and are on the bank on the right hand side. The trees need to be cut back Would need a tree expert to come and look as some of the trees have already come down,

  • Thank you for your enquiry, we have visited site and inspected the trees & vegetation as described in the enquiry. The vegetation present appears growing beyond the area that OCC maintains and is therefore deemed to be an adjacent boundary feature. OCC, as the local highway authority, maintain the HMPE (highway maintainable at public expense) from boundary feature to boundary feature. As such the vegetation present is maintainable by the adjacent property/land owner, and not the county council, to maintain as they wish.
