A Mirror is needed at the Junction when coming from Sandford St Martin as you can NOT see to the right and it's just a Lottery if you pull out in front of a car doing 50mph+ Not so bad at in the dark as you can see headlights but in the daytime you can not see anything as there is a slight bend in the road making it blind

The county do not provide or support the use of road mirrors on the highway. The image they provide can be misleading in terms of vehicle speed and distance giving drivers a false sense of security, potentially leading to vehicles emerging injudiciously. They are prone to vandalism, fogging in poor atmospheric conditions and glare from the sun or car headlights. If however permission is granted by a landowner adjacent to but off the highway and therefore outside the jurisdiction of the County, a suitable post and mirror may be erected. The County could accept no responsibility for a mirror so erected
