4 street lights out in current roadworks on sharp bend
Reported in the Street lighting category anonymously at 19:38, Thursday 16 January 2020
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 4 minutes later
4 street lights are out on the bend as you exit Adderbury. There is road works being completed at the moment on this stretch. It is lethal in the dark as people race to get through the traffic lights on a dipped bend in the dark - towards stationary traffic! These lights have been out for at least three months now. Please fix urgently before something awful happens.
Thank you for your report, to enable us to log the fault to the correct unit can you please advise using the attached map the street light number you are referring to. If the unit is not on the map this would not be owned/maintained by Oxfordshire County Council and would need to be reported to the developer/landowner direct. Unfortunately we do not keep records of private lights.

How do you view the units on the map. I can’t find any numbers anywhere for any place in Adderbury and I’m presuming some are owned by county council at least. Please direct me further to how I find numbers.

I have looked on the lampposts this morning it is either numbers 17-20 or 18-21 that are not working. Can’t tell in daylight exactly which set of 4.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention, unfortunately the unit(s) you are referring to are not owned, maintained or adopted by Oxfordshire County Council, these are private lights that would be the responsibility of the developer/landowner whom you would need to contact direct.
Unfortunately we do not keep records of private units. Please accept our apologies as we cannot assist any further on this occasion.
