  • This pothole is still there over a week since it was first reported - as of 23rd January 2020, my wheels hit it in the dark last night and fortunately survived, despite the loud 'double-bang'. But this is a nasty one and it's only a matter of time before someone and/or their car is less fortunate. I estimate to be 4 inches deep and about 15x9" in shape.

  • This was recently posted on Facebook. It seems that using Fixmystreet is a complete waste of time for highlighting anything urgent.

"PLEASE Do not post emergencies on fixmystreet. It is not constantly monitored. For emergencies contact 0345 310 1111, it’s a 24hr manned line, and they will respond to issues such as dangerous potholes, severe flooding, debris in the carriageway, dead animals in the carriageway (not in the verge), fallen trees, basically anything which endangers road users and the public."
