Water is coming off the highway and settling alongside my house

The cottage is a mud 19th century farm workers cottage . The water will damage the foundations and damp will come into the house . The water needs to drain away from the house .

Thank you for your report. We had recently raised height of vehicular crossing kerbs to pretend water from highway entering private properties. There is issue with recently constructed tarmac drive running alongside Kennel Cottages which is leaning towards properties and has not functioning drainage system. That causing water running from drive and accumulate by the property walls.
This issue should be addressed to land owner.
