Drainage and Lack of Flow below road

There is an issue with the drainage from the ditch that runs opposite West End Cottage and alongside Jakemans. With all the heavy rainfall recently, the level in the ditch has risen significantly and is at a very high level. As the ditch approaches Jakemans it flows through a gully under the road and then surfaces again outside Shepherds Cottage. The water level outside Shepherds Cottage although high is not at a bad level and if we follow it round to the other side of the village where it meets the road between Cuddy Thorne and the Thames Water plot the level is also good. The problem seems to be a lack of flow under the road between Jakemans and Shepherds Cottage.
