Street lamp too bright

Reported in the Street lighting category anonymously at 18:35, Monday 13 January 2020

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 5 minutes later

This is further info for the problem outside 94 Freehold Street. I phoned OCC today and am waiting for someone to get back to me to explain why we cannot have a timer fitted to turn this light off at night. As the photos show, it is far too bright for a small rural village and certainly to be kept on all night. It is too close to our house!!

  • Ref:00365471 Thank you for your report, OCC are now responding to out of lights within the contracted timescales of attending site within 7 working days for repairs. If there is a cable fault this will be passed to the Electricity company to repair and will take longer, it will depend on the resources which the District Service Operator has. Thank you
