10 inch car jarring pothole
Reported in the Pothole category by Griffiths. Robert at 16:59, Fri 10 January 2020
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 3 minutes later
Hi - This pothole has been developing for probably 3 weeks now. It is adjacent to a drain cover on the left hand side of Main Street travelling towards the centre of the village and approximately 150 yards from the Foxglove Lane corner. Please see photos. I would say it has the potential to unseat a cyclist or damage the wheel of a car. It is just where the road narrows approaching a bend and for the unwary is difficult to avoid. Thank you.

This pothole is massive and needs to be filled urgently before someone's car is damaged.

Too late already happened!
Saturday 18th January 2020, 17.15 hrs.
I had left my home in East Hagbourne travelling to Basingstoke via west Hagbourne, I was driving along main road toward the triangle when my car went down with an almighty bang when I stopped my tyre was completely flat and I’d hit a pothole! This is located after the 30mph limit sign and next to a drain opposite the apple trees bungalow, I was stranded and had to be recovered and my near side front had 2 slits on the inside wall.
This is in need of desperate repair!
