The hotel do not have planning permission for this much parking, and damaging the verge impacts the amenity and appearance of the public realm.

Bollards are required at this location to prevent this illegal activity.

  • Thank you for your report. This has been added to a list to investigate for potential bollard locations. We need to make sure that this verge is highways maintainable at the public expense, and not partially owned by the hotel. Bollards may then be installed if funding becomes available.
