Damaged road sign

Reported in the Road Traffic Signs and Road Markings category anonymously at 10:30, Thursday 9 January 2020

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 8 minutes later

A truck has pushed over the no exit sign leading from the access road into North Bar St. This is a different sign to the other one which was damaged some time ago (and has not been repaired). The sign is now intruding into the roadway.

  • Will the team who come to fix it also fix the sign a few yards away, which remains unsafe from 18 months ago?

  • Why did the team who came to investigate leave kerb stones in the carriageway? Surely from a safety point of view they should have moved them to a safe location - not relied on members of the public to do their work for them.
