Water running down street

Reported in the Drainage category anonymously at 11:27, Sunday 5 January 2020

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 8 minutes later

There has been water running down the hill for several weeks now. Either blocked drain or broken pipes. Will be nasty if freezes as is running across whole if road in places and will cause sheet ice.

Council ref: ENQ20852321

  • The image shows the extent to the problem. The drains are blocked and so the water is running down the hill. The circled part of the image shows a drain that literally has water flowing out of it. The ones above and below this one on the hill are not working properly either. Pedestrians are getting splashed by this water when vehicles drive past.

As pointed out elsewhere on here - if this water freezes, the road will become an ice rink and extremely hazardous. This needs sorting out asap due to the time of year.
