Street light comes on and off

• Hi, thank you for your report. The street lights in Goring are the responsibility of the parish council. Before I can report it to SSE Lighting who are the contractor responsible for fixing it, I need to be able to identify exactly which light it is. Unfortunately intermittent faults are a big problem as SSE often visits when they are working and then charge us a call out fee as they claim there isn't any fault! I will try to pass along Manor Road during darkness next week and will monitor the situation.

• Thanks very much for reporting this. It has already been reported to our contractor SSE Lighting who advised they couldn't find a fault (when they visited it was of course working!) so we have already asked them to replace it with a new LED fitting hoping that this will solve the problem. Unfortunately this will take 4-6 weeks. In the meantime we'll just have to put with it working intermittently.
