Tripping hazard due to tree growth from churchyard in pavement

Reported in the Pavements category anonymously at 17:23, Wednesday 1 January 2020

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 4 minutes later

A route from a tree in the Wootton village churchyard has created a three-inch raised section right across the footpath by the access gate. I caught my toe on this today and fell over and have damaged by knee. This is a serious health and safety hazard on a public footpath and needs urgent attention

  • You have made a very nice job of levelling the footpath outside the church in Wootton many thanks, however there were two other areas of root damage with raise sections of the pavement only about 4 feet away and these could have been done at the same time that they failed to do them which is a shame.
