Street lighting caused fall

Reported in the Street lighting category anonymously at 07:49, Tue 31 December 2019

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later

I was walking to the cattle market car park at approx5.30pm. I had cut through barks and Spencer's and a short distance along Victoria riad I walked into a cut off post and really bruised my leg. If a work colleague hadn't been with me I would have fallen over. My leg is very bruised this morning. This was caused by the fact that a street light was not working and the area was extremely dark. I would like to be contacted regarding this

  • Thank you for your report, to enable us to log the fault to the correct unit can you please advise using the attached map the street light number you are referring to. If the unit is not on the map this would not be owned/maintained by Oxfordshire County Council and would need to be reported to the developer/landowner direct. Unfortunately we do not keep records of private lights.
