The lamposton the lane exiting the bottom of Weavers Close is out. It is the only source of light when a slip into Emma's dyke is right there. Please could it be looked at soon. Thank you.

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 4 minutes later

The lampost went out over the Christmas period (2019). It is a busy pathway, especially for dog walkers. It doesn't look damaged, so probably just a bulb that needs replacing. The location is on a pathway coming off off the bottom of Weavers Close, and joins to the main pathway up to Lidl/Ducklington Lane.

  • Thank you for your report, to enable us to log the fault to the correct unit can you please advise using the attached map the street light number you are referring to. If the unit is not on the map this would not be owned/maintained by Oxfordshire County Council and would need to be reported to the developer/landowner direct. Unfortunately we do not keep records of private lights.

  • The lamp post has the number 19 scrawled in yellow on it - with an OCC faulty light sticker on it. It is located on the pedestrian path exiting Weavers Close, in between house number 49 and 47 Weavers Close.

  • Ref:00364850 Thank you for your report, OCC are now responding to out of lights within the contracted timescales of attending site within 7 working days for repairs. If there is a cable fault this will be passed to the Electricity company to repair and will take longer, it will depend on the resources which the District Service Operator has. Thank you
