Street drainage issue.

Reported via iOS in the Drainage category anonymously at 15:07, Thu 19 December 2019

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 5 minutes later

Drainage issue at the end of The Holt. Whenever it rains the run off water forms a small lake, because the gutters are higher than the road surface much of the water is draining away very slowly and all the muck washed down the street forms a slick slippery black sludge. Although there is a street sweeper occasionally the end of the street seems hard for it to negotiate so it has ended up in the state you see in the picture. Please do something to rectify the problem.

  • Still not fixed or looked at but given the lockdown etc I think sometime in the future would be fine.

  • We’re still in lockdown and I don’t consider this as essential for now.

  • Still forms a shallow lake every time it rains and when it dries up a thick black slippery sludge remains. I have scraped this off and cleared some of it recently but had to put it into the drain, eventually the drain will block up my house will flood and you will be held liable by my insurers. Fix this problem please.
