Unfinished problem
Reported in the Street lighting category anonymously at 22:59, Wed 18 December 2019
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later
I reported a streetlight replacement outside 94 Freehold Street, Lower Heyford, as far too bright. I was told that a shield would be fitted and the light would be modified to ensure it turned off after midnight as the old light did. A very small, largely ineffective shield has been fitted and the light still shines into our bedroom all night. We cannot sleep and are getting desperate. PLEASE fix this problem ASAP.

Ref: 00364132 Thank you for your report, OCC are now responding to out of lights within the contracted timescales of attending site within 7 days for repairs. If there is a cable fault this will be passed to the Electricity company to repair and will take longer, it will depend on the resources which the District Service Operator has. Thank you
